NEW TIMES SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD. has entered into the Shipbuilding Contracts with Greece shipowner Chartworld for building eight(4+2+2) 115,000DWT Crude Oil Tankers recently. CEO Mr. Liu Haijin, Board Director Mr. Yuan Heng on behalf of NEW TIMES SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD., and General Manager Mr. ANTONIOS FARAKLAS, Legal Counselor Ms. Maria on behalf of Chartworld attended the signing ceremony.
  
We have received the first installment of the four vessels recently which means the Shipbuilding Contracts have become effective. The 2+2 option vessels will be declared in the fourth quarter of this year according to the mutual agreement between NTS and Chartworld.
This is our second corporation with Chartworld. Early in 2016, we have resold one 180,000DWT Bulk Carrier to Chartworld from the original Buyer CARGILL. Chartworld showed their high satisfaction after operating the vessel and kept close contact with us to expect a chance of future corporation. 

NTS is the only shipyard Chartworld chooses to corporate in this project since we are the NO.1 Tanker manufacturer in China. It only takes about one month from the signing of LOI to the signing of Shipbuilding Contract.

This series of 115,000DWT Crude Oil Tankers are the upgraded design of our previous 110,000DWT oil tanker, the deadweight is 115,000DWT. The principal particulars and dimensions of the vessels are as below:
